Until I met Dr. Tiffany and the staff at Healing Touch Chiropractic, I firmly did not believe in chiropractic care.
I have suffered from migraines for over 30 years. They have fluctuated in frequency and severity with the only relief I could find being medication. If I stayed medicated, I was “fine”.
Then, a little over three months ago the headache and neck pain came with a vengeance. After 3 ER visits, multiple days of missing work, debilitating medications to try and block the pain, and not being able to enjoy my free time, a friend said that I had to go see Dr. Tiffany!
So, figuring I had nothing to lose (although not believing it would work) I scheduled my 1st appointment. The staff was so kind and quickly eased my nerves. I left that 1st appointment with hope… something I hadn’t had for quite some time.
Within the 1st month of treatment, I could notice the difference in not only the intensity of my headaches but was also sleeping 4-5hours at a time and waking energized for the day. I was able to come home from work and still have energy and motivation to complete tasks around the house (something I had not been able to do routinely since the ER visits.
Feeling better than I had in months, I even managed to take a vacation with friends and enjoyed myself the entire time. However, after missing adjustments for 6 days, I quickly learned that while I thought I was feeling “healed” I still had a long way to go. Returning from vacation, I again found myself back in the ER with the severe headache and neck pain. Listening to my body I realized that while I was heading in the right direction, it was critical that follow the recommended adjustment plan Dr. Tiffany had set up for me.
Fast forward three months and I AM A BELIEVER! Recovering from the vacation round of headaches was much quicker and with each adjustment, I am feeling better and more motivated to continue my recovery with Healing Touch Chiropractic. While I know I still have a long road ahead to full recovery, I am happy to say I am medication free, sleeping through the night and, and headache free!
